21/4/13 – Black Bread

Not technically from today, but rather from last night. We went out for tapas with some friends to a bar called Pinchopote near Gregorio Marañon, and this was by far the star of the show. Bread made with squid ink filled with tiny fried squid and ali-oli. oh em gee. Today was devoted to worthier activities, like buying sunglasses and nose studs, and having a final pizza before my boyfriend starts a diet tomorrow.

    • It was nice, but it wasn’t mind blowing. Good service, nice range of pinchos – the pisto was also excellent as was the capricho de bacalao. Go if you are in the area, but I wouldn’t make a special trip!
