26/3/13 – Rain and Grain

In a brief break from the rain and eating a million delicious homemade Spanish desserts (hello natillas and arroz con leche), we went out for a walk and to run some errands. One of the most interesting and unknown things about Linares is that it is full of top quality, innovative graffiti, mainly thanks to homegrown talent Belin. This humorous ‘silo pintado’, in which a grain store from the Franco era has been transformed into a work of art, is just one example of the resourcefulness and quirkiness of local artists.
